The Shea Raiders nipped the host Cranston East Thunderbolts basketball squad by a final score of 58-53 in Monday's league outing.
Next, the Raiders face the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) in a Division I outing, on Wednesday, January 15. Shea will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Townies enter the outing with a 6-4 record after their 60-53 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, RI).
The Thunderbolts (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Bulldogs enter the Division I outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Westerly was nipped by South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 67-58, in a non-league outing.
