In Monday's non-league contest, the host Wilby Wildcats basketball team scored a big 114-22 win over the Derby Red Raiders.
The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Waterbury, CT). The Eagles come into the Naugatuck Valley 2 contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Kennedy was trounced by Crosby (Waterbury, CT), 70-66, in a non-league contest.
