With the victory, Fort Gibson advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Tigers host Catoosa (Catoosa, OK) to meet the Indians in a Verdigris Valley battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 11-0.
The Chieftains now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Enid for a 6A District 4 battle on Tuesday, January 14. Sapulpa will meet a Plainsmen squad coming off a 68-61 non-league win over Southeast (Oklahoma City, OK). The Plainsmen record now stands at 6-5.
