The Sardis Lions basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Gaston Bulldogs to 63 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Glencoe for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15.
With the loss, Gaston falls to 10-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL) to play the Tigers in a 2A Area 13 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 6-11. Cedar Bluff won 54-46 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln (Lincoln, AL)
