The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) and the host Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA), observed McDowell's basketball team overwhelm Girard by a score of 75-26.

The Trojans (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Erie (Erie, PA). The Royals come into the District 10 Region 7 challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Erie was routed by Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL), 79-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Girard will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record.
