New Mexico High School Basketball - Grants held off by Hope Christian

In Monday's non-league test, the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad got by the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), by a score of 68-63.

Next, the Huskies encounter the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 16. Hope Christian will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 10-4 record after their 55-52 non-league win over Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM).

The Pirates (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Zuni (Zuni, NM). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Zuni was nipped by Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM), 63-34, in a non-league test.
