The Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) basketball toppled the host South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND), 56-37 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Timber Lake for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Herreid/Selby will play a Panthers team coming off a 58-23 non-league win over Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 10-1.
