In Monday's non-league contest, the host Lake Orion Dragons basketball team scored a big 63-35 triumph over the Lapeer Lightning.
The Dragons (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Harper Woods (Harper Woods, MI). The Pioneers go into the Oakland - White contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Harper Woods smashed Seaholm (Birmingham, MI), 54-50, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lightning battle the Davison Cardinals (Davison, MI) in a Saginaw Valley contest, on Friday, January 17. Lapeer will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 84-52 non-league loss to East Lansing (East Lansing, MI).
