In Monday's non-league contest, the host Latin Romans basketball team scored a good 63-52 triumph over the The Noble Academy Griffins.
The Romans (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chicago University (Chicago, IL). The Maroons go into the Independent School contest with a 2-7 record.
In their next game, the Griffins confront the DRW College Prep Cheetahs (Chicago, IL) in a Noble contest, on Tuesday, January 14. The Noble Academy will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Cheetahs go into the contest with a 8-8 record after their 60-48 non-league loss to Uplift (Chicago, IL).
