In Monday's league test, the Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD) basketball squad got by the host Northeast Eagles (Pasadena, MD), by a score of 43-41.
Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Severna Park Falcons (Severna Park, MD) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 14. Southern will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 61-46 league loss to Meade (Fort Meade, MD).
The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Broadneck (Annapolis, MD). The Bruins come into the Anne Arundel County test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Broadneck was nipped by Meade (Fort Meade, MD), 58-54, in a league test.
