Nebraska High School Basketball - Wisner-Pilger overwhelmed by Wakefield

In Monday's non-league test, the Wakefield Trojans (Wakefield, NE) basketball squad trounced the visiting Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE), by a final score of 69-41.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers (Bancroft, NE) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 16. Wakefield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 10-1 record after their 53-48 non-league win over Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE).

The Gators (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Humphrey-Lindsay (Humphrey, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Humphrey-Lindsay bounced Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (Laurel, NE), 61-53, in a non-league test.
