The Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA) basketball were winner over the visiting Penn Wood Patriots (Lansdowne, PA), 52-39 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Galloping Ghosts now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Neshaminy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Abington will play a Skins team coming off a 61-22 non-league loss to Conestoga (Berwyn, PA). The Skins record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Penn Wood falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Patriots host Chester (Chester, PA) to play the Clippers in a Delaware Valley bout on Thursday, January 16. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Chester won 45-43 in their recent league bout against Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA)
