Amanda-Clearcreek Aces (Amanda, OH) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Heath Bulldogs (Heath, OH), 41-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Amanda-Clearcreek advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Aces host Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH) to face the Falcons in a Mid-State - Buckeye match on Friday, January 17. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 14-0. Fairfield Union won 66-52 in their recent league match against Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH)

The Bulldogs now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northridge for a Licking County - Cardinal match on Wednesday, January 15. Heath will face a Vikings squad coming off a 63-58 non-league loss to Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 6-7.
