The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL) and the visiting Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), observed Auburn's basketball team overwhelm Olympia by a score of 52-26.

The Trojans (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Bullets come into the Sangamo challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Williamsville was routed by Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL), 56-10, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL) in a Sangamo challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Olympia will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 48-45 league loss to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL).
