In Monday's league test, the Baker Buffaloes (Baker, LA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Northeast Vikings (Pride, LA), by a score of 54-18.
Next, the Buffaloes clash with the Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA) in a 2A District 8 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Baker will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 7-7 record after their 43-29 non-league loss to Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA).
The Vikings (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Central (Baton Rouge, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 3-5 record.
