Ohio High School Basketball - Bishop Watterson knocks off Johnstown-Monroe

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Bishop Watterson Eagles basketball team scored a good 43-31 win over the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies.

The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH). The Hawks come into the Central Catholic contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Bishop Hartley defeated Genoa Christian Academy (Westerville, OH), 62-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Johnnies battle the Lakewood Lancers (Hebron, OH) in a Licking County - Cardinal contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Johnstown-Monroe will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Lancers come into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 57-21 non-league win over Trimble (Glouster, OH).
