The Briarfield Academy Rebels (Lake Providence, LA) basketball were winner over the visiting Humphreys Academy Rebels (Belzoni, MS), 42-22 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 13-2 record. They play next when they host Claiborne Academy for a MAIS 2A District 4 bout on Friday, January 17. Briarfield Academy will play a Rebels team coming off a 47-16 league win over Union Christian Academy (Farmerville, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, Humphreys Academy falls to 1-1 on the campaign.
