The Savanna Bulldogs nipped the host Caney Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 34-31 in Monday's non-league outing.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Pittsburg Panthers (Pittsburg, OK) in a Pittsburg Eight outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Savanna will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 10-2 record after their 43-31 non-league win over Varnum (Seminole, OK).
The Cougars (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Tushka (Atoka, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league outing with a 8-2 record.
