The Cavaliers (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Litchfield (Litchfield, IL). The Purple Panthers come into the South Central challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, Litchfield trounced Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL), 55-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) in a Sangamo challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Riverton will attempt to better on its 2-15 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 45-44 non-league win over Havana (Havana, IL).
