In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Jefferson Saints basketball team scored a big 65-22 triumph over the Sheridan Rams.

The Saints (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bennett (Bennett, CO). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Bennett smashed Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO), 40-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Arrupe Jesuit Generals (Denver, CO) in a 4A/3A/2A Frontier contest, on Thursday, January 16. Sheridan will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Generals go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 36-30 non-league win over Platte Canyon (Bailey, CO).
