The Lakewood Lancers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Trimble Tomcats to 21 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lancers now possess a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Johnstown-Monroe for a Licking County - Cardinal game on Wednesday, January 15. Lakewood will confront a Johnnies team coming off a 43-31 non-league loss to Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH). The Johnnies record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Trimble falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to Eastern (Reedsville, OH) to confront the Eagles in a Tri-Valley - Hocking game on Thursday, January 16. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-11. Eastern lost 79-47 in their recent non-league game against Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV)
