The Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) basketball edged the host Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY), 69-67 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Commodores now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson Central for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Perry County Central will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 59-46 non-league win over Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 13-2.
With the loss, Lawrence County falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Floyd Central (Eastern, KY) to play the Jaguars in a District 58 bout on Friday, January 17. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 8-4.
