The Cardinals now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Frederick Douglass for a District 42 game on Wednesday, January 15. Scott County will confront a Broncos team coming off a 80-31 league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Broncos record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Madison Southern falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 14-3. Lexington Christian won 71-20 in their recent non-league game against Berea (Berea, KY)
