The Webster City Lynx basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Nevada Cubs to 47 in the Lynx non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lynx now have a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Southeast Valley for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Webster City will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 46-25 non-league loss to South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Nevada falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Cubs host Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to confront the Eagles in a Heart of Iowa game on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 8-4. Saydel lost 69-31 in their recent league game against Roland-Story (Story City, IA)
