Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Newport overwhelmed by Upper Dauphin Area

In Monday's league test, the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans (Elizabethville, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA), by a score of 42-17.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA) in a Tri-Valley test, on Friday, January 17. Upper Dauphin Area will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 10-3 record after their 56-48 league loss to Line Mountain (Herndon, PA).

The Buffaloes (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Dayspring Christian Academy (Mountville, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Dayspring Christian Academy was routed by New Covenant Christian (Lebanon, PA), 51-41, in a league test.
