The Stanwood Spartans (Stanwood, WA) basketball were winner over the host Skyline Spartans (Sammamish, WA), 63-44 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Marysville-Pilchuck for a 2A/3A Wesco bout on Wednesday, January 15. Stanwood will play a Tomahawks team coming off a 59-14 non-league loss to Interlake (Bellevue, WA). The Tomahawks record now stands at 0-13.
With the loss, Skyline falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to North Creek (Bothell, WA) to play the Jaguars in a 4A KingCo bout on Wednesday, January 15.
