In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Fall River Pirates basketball team scored a good 62-48 triumph over the Waterloo Pirates.
The Pirates (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rio (Rio, WI). The Vikings go into the Trailways - West match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, Rio was dropped by Westfield Area (Westfield, WI), 76-63, in a non-league match.
The Pirates now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Glarus for a Capitol - South match on Thursday, January 15. Waterloo will face a Glarner Knights squad coming off a 76-70 non-league loss to Dodgeville (Dodgeville, WI). The Glarner Knights record now stands at 7-4.
