The Cardinal O'Hara Lions (Springfield, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Archbishop Carroll Patriots (Radnor, PA), 55-53 in Friday's league test.
The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Ryan (Philadelphia, PA). The Raiders go into the Philadelphia Catholic test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Archbishop Ryan was tipped by Roman Catholic (Philadelphia, PA), 70-49, in a league test.

Archbishop Carroll will encounter a Friars/Pandas squad coming off a 49-48 league win over St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA). The Friars/Pandas record now stands at 5-4.
