The Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves routed the host Arthur County Wolves basketball team by a final score of 54-23 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wolves face the Bertrand Vikings (Bertrand, NE) in a D2 District 8 game, on Thursday, January 20. Maywood/Hayes Center will attempt to move on its 15-1 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 1-12 record after their 55-30 non-league loss to Overton (Overton, NE).
