The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Crosbyton lost 47-38 in their recent league bout against Lorenzo (Lorenzo, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Petersburg Buffaloes (Petersburg, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Southland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 48-26 league loss to Lorenzo (Lorenzo, TX).
