Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shaker Bison (Latham, NY), 52-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Albany Academy for Boys upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Cadets host Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Bison clash with the Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Shaker will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Plainsmen go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 57-40 league win over Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY).
