Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH) and the host Ontario Warriors (Mansfield, OH), saw Ashland's basketball squad knock off Ontario by a count of 61-50.

With the victory, Ashland upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Arrows host Wooster (Wooster, OH) to play the Generals in a Ohio Cardinal challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Wooster lost 76-50 in their recent league challenge against Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH)

Next up, the Warriors play the Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH) in a Mid-Ohio - Red challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Ontario will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Fighting Scots come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 59-47 league loss to Clear Fork (Bellville, OH).
