The Avalon Black Knights basketball team (Wheaton, MD), was toppled 77-63 in Saturday's league battle with the host St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD)
The Lions now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flint Hill for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. St. Andrew's Episcopal will confront a Huskies team coming off a 83-65 non-league win over National Christian Academy White (Fort Washington, MD). The Huskies record now stands at 7-8.
The Black Knights (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lanham Christian (Lanham, MD). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record.
