Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL), 51-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Batavia upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Hononegah (Rockton, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Hononegah lost 47-42 in their recent league bout against Jefferson (Rockford, IL)

Next up, the Vikings play the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 68-63 league win over Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL).
