Illinois High School Basketball - Hononegah knocked off by Batavia

The Batavia Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Hononegah Indians to 50 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Batavia will meet a J-Hawks team coming off a 70-53 non-league loss to Springfield (Springfield, IL). The J-Hawks record now stands at 4-13.
The Indians (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Red Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Thornton Fractional South was defeated by Guilford (Rockford, IL), 75-73, in a non-league contest.
