The Bayou Academy Colts routed the visiting Lee Academy Colts basketball team by a final score of 50-27 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Colts face the Starkville Academy Volunteers (Starkville, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 1 game, on Tuesday, January 17. Bayou Academy will attempt to move on its 13-10 season record. The Volunteers enter the game with a 13-8 record after their 42-41 league win over Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, MS).
With the defeat, Lee Academy moves to 0-2 on the year.
