Colorado High School Basketball - Weld Central succumbs to Brush

January 14, 2023: Brush, CO 80723

The Brush Beetdiggers topped the visiting Weld Central Rebels basketball team by a final score of 67-54 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Beetdiggers face the Frontier Academy Wolverines (Greeley, CO) in a 3A Patriot game, on Tuesday, January 17. Brush will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 4-6 record after their 64-48 non-league win over Valley (Gilcrest, CO).

With the defeat, Weld Central moves to 7-3 on the year. The Rebels travel to Sterling (Sterling, CO) to face the Tigers in a 4A Patriot game on Monday, January 16. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 8-3. Sterling lost 63-49 in their recent league game against Eaton (Eaton, CO)
