With the victory, Burke County improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bears host Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a AAAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Southeast Bulloch won 57-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA)

Next up, the War Eagles confront the Montgomery County Eagles (Mt. Vernon, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Jenkins County will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 73-65 non-league win over Treutlen (Soperton, GA).
