Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) and the visiting Calvary Christian Academy Eagles (Fort Lauderdale, FL), saw Christ the King's basketball squad knock off Calvary Christian Academy by a count of 58-47.

With the victory, Christ the King upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Mt. St. Michael Academy (Bronx, NY) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 3-10.

Next up, the Eagles play the Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Calvary Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 87-78 non-league loss to Legacy School of Sport Sciences (Spring, TX).
