Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers (Cass Lake, MN) and the host Henning Hornets (Henning, MN), witnessed Cass Lake-Bena's basketball squad nip Henning by a margin of 71-70.

The Panthers (12-0) will now prepare for their test against Cherry (Iron, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record.

The Hornets now own a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pillager for a AA Section 7 test on Tuesday, January 17. Henning will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 77-70 league loss to Wadena-Deer Creek (Wadena, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 3-6.
