Nebraska High School Basketball - Clarkson/Leigh trounces Pender

The Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) basketball crushed the host Pender Pendragons (Pender, NE), 62-37 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Patriots (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE). The Eagles go into the C2 District 5 test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Lutheran-Northeast walloped Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE), 57-51, in a non-league test.

The Pendragons now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Wynot for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Pender will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 76-66 non-league loss to Winnebago (Winnebago, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-1.
