Idaho High School Basketball - Council trounces Highland

The Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID) basketball crushed the visiting Highland Huskies (Craigmont, ID), 75-53 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lumberjacks (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Cascade (Cascade, ID). The Ramblers go into the 1A Long Pin test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Cascade was trounced by Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID), 43-41, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Timberline for a 1A White Pine test on Tuesday, January 17. Highland will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 62-36 league win over Nezperce (Nezperce, ID). The Spartans record now stands at 3-6.
