The Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) basketball knocked off the host Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), 62-45 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Gators (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Central (Burlington, IL). The Rockets go into the Fox Valley test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Central went down by Lyons (LaGrange, IL), 60-57, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Leyden for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18.
