The Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers basketball team (Des Lacs, ND), was toppled 72-64 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND)
The Bison now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shiloh Christian for a non-league battle on Monday, January 16. Hazen will confront a Skyhawks team coming off a 51-46 non-league loss to Beulah (Beulah, ND). The Skyhawks record now stands at 2-4.
The Lakers (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Ryan (Minot, ND). The Lions come into the B Region 6 District 12 battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Bishop Ryan beat Bottineau (Bottineau, ND), 80-48, in a non-league battle.
