The DeSmet Bulldogs basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Pipestone Arrows to 40 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamlin for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. DeSmet will battle a Chargers team coming off a 70-31 non-league win over Webster (Webster, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 4-2.
The Arrows (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Southwest Minnesota Christian prevailed over Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN), 76-29, in a league contest.
