In Saturday's non-league outing, the Duncan Wildkats (Duncan, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ), by a count of 61-24.

The Wildkats (7-12) will now prepare for their outing against Baboquivari (Sells, AZ). The Warriors go into the 1A Tucson Southeast outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Baboquivari smashed Patagonia (Patagonia, AZ), 65-30, in a league outing.

The Bearcats now hold a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to The Gregory School for a 1A Tucson Northwest outing on Tuesday, January 17. Ray will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 62-35 non-league win over St. Augustine Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 10-10.
