With the victory, Firebaugh upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Mendota (Mendota, CA) to play the Aztecs in a West Sierra bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Aztecs come into the bout with a record of 14-4. Mendota won 55-53 in their recent non-league bout against Fowler (Fowler, CA)

Next up, the Blades play the Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. East Bakersfield will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 68-50 league loss to Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA).
