The Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) basketball felled the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 69-58 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors go into the South Suburban test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Thornton Fractional North thwarted Orr (Chicago, IL), 61-59, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hansberry for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Plainfield Central will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 87-35 league win over Baker (Chicago, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 13-6.
