The North Boone Vikings basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Forreston Cardinals to 41 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Dubuque for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. North Boone will battle a Warriors team coming off a 47-40 league loss to Warren (Warren, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 7-8.

The Cardinals (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, East Dubuque dropped by Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL), 53-31, in a non-league contest.
