Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) and the visiting Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME), saw Mt. Ararat's basketball squad wallop Gardiner by a tally of 61-33.

With the victory, Mt. Ararat improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Brunswick (Brunswick, ME) to play the Dragons in a A South challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Brunswick lost 68-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME)

Next up, the Tigers play the Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME) in a A North challenge, on Friday, January 27. Gardiner will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
